ZFF Family Day
ZFF Family Day invites the whole family to enjoy a day of movies, creativity, and shared experiences. With exciting film screenings, creative workshops, and entertaining hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone.
The ZFF Family Day is all about the joy of discovery . Enjoy a day full of games, fun, and unforgettable moments for the whole family. More information about the full program will be posted regularly. The ZFF Family Day is presented by UBS.

Admission to the program at the Festival Center is free and does not require advance registration.
Creative Workshops with FilmKids
Together with FilmKids, you can let your creativity run wild:
- Animated Film Workshop: Work together as a family to create a short animated film and discover how moving images are made.
- Mask and Hairstyle Workshop: Transform into your favorite characters with professional masks and creative hairstyles, or invent your own movie character.
Games, Fun and Participation
Numerous attractions await you at the Festival Center on Sechseläutenplatz (free admission):
- Play the Wheel of Fortune for a chance to win attractive prizes from our ZFF partners!
- Popcorn and syrup
- An Exhibition of film posters designed by students
- Art Corner for Little Artists
- Mercedes Glambot: Shoot your own spectacular short video
- The ZFF and UBS mascots, Goldie and Topsy, are looking forward to taking photos with you.
Activities for children ages 0–4, when accompanied by an adult.
Immerse yourself and your children in the magical world of light and shadow. Enjoy discovering, experimenting, and experiencing FLOW together. There's no right or wrong way. FLOW is an early childhood education program offered by the Lapurla Foundation where children are free to follow their curiosity.
SRF Kids Star Moment
During the SRF Kids interview workshop, you will have the opportunity to step up to the microphone with Anna Zöllig and experience what it's like to be a star.
ZFF Family Day Screening
Enjoy a special ZFF Family Day screening from our Kids program. Tickets will be available starting September 14 through our regular ticket sales channels.
ZFF for Kids Studio Premiere at the Corso Cinema
At 12:30 PM (subject to change), the Kino Corso will host the studio premiere of our ZFF Studio Kids. More information about Studio Kids is available here. Tickets for the screening will be available through regular ticket sales starting September 14.
