Concrete Utopia

A violent earthquake leaves entire neighbourhoods of the South Korean capital Seoul in ruins. From their balcony, Min-seoung and Myeong-hwa see only rubble and motionless bodies. Miraculously, their apartment complex has been spared. It is not long before the first homeless people seek shelter with them. Disaster strikes again when the survivors try to restore social order. The dystopian thriller CONCRETE UTOPIA cleverly wraps a socially critical subtext in spectacular storytelling. The South Korean Academy Award entry features superstar Lee Byung-hun in a leading role.
