    New Festival Cinema: Riffraff Kino/Bar/Bistro is ZFF’s New Cinema Partner

    ZFF is expanding into Zurich’s booming Kreis 5. With its four theatres, the Riffraff Kino/Bar/Bistro will join the current list of official festival cinemas. In addition to hosting the festival’s regular programme, the Riffraff will also be the venue for industry and press screenings.

    Five nominees chosen – Film Music Concert with „James Bond“ theme – Advance sale tickets available now

    189 composers from 38 countries around the world entered the 6th International Film Music Competition. Presided over by German singer and actor Herbert Grönemeyer, the jury has selected five compositions to enter the final round. This year’s grand Film Music Concert takes place under the theme „James Bond“. Advance sale tickets for this musical event are now available.

    Switzerland's biggest film contest is about to start its fourth round: register now at to take part! Entrants are given 72 hours to create a film lasting no longer than 72 seconds. There are prizes totalling CHF 10’000 to be won. The award ceremony takes place during the 13th ZFF.

    "Connect to Reality" - new project at Zurich, Locarno and Geneva Film Festivals

    ZFF, Locarno Festival and Geneva International Film Festival Tous Écrans join forces to launch "Connect to Reality." The new trilateral initiative will facilitate a platform serving as dialogue and exchange for Swiss filmmakers and is meant to investigate and carefully examine the challenges regarding development, production and distribution of Swiss movies. It aspires to contribute to the success of Swiss productions, both at home and abroad.
