ZFF Day by Day / 7

02. October 2013

Prior to presenting his latest comedy production ABOUT TIME (21:00, corso 1) and receiving the Career Achievement Award this evening, one of Europe’s most successful producers, Tim Bevan, will also hold a public ZFF MASTERS session (17:30, Filmpodium).

The two beautifully shot Swiss films LEFT FOOT RIGHT FOOT (20:15, corso 4) from Germinal Raoux and GERGIEV: A CERTAIN MADNESS (18:00, Arena 5) are also on the programme today. The international competition section offers an abundance of Mexican charm with LAS HORAS MUERTAS (18:30, Le Paris) and the delightfully sprightly French comedy starring the brilliant comedian Vincent Maccaigne LA BATAILLE DE SOLFERINO (19:30, Filmpodium). NORDSTRAND (18:15, corso 2), a drama about two brothers, celebrates its European premiere screening.

Our extensive programme begins at lunchtime with the disturbing „Border Lines“ documentary film GOD LOVES UGANDA (12:30, Filmpodium), the world premiere of DAS ERSTE MEER (12:30, Arena 4) and the competition entry PUPPY LOVE (13.00, corso 2).

Partygoers can make merry post film at the small but exquisite Club Bellevue. Open Mon – Thu until the early morning hours.
