Internationaler Filmmusikwettbewerb
Experience an unforgettable musical evening with the Hollywood composer Mychael Danna. The Oscar-winner presides over the jury of the 9th International Film Music Competition (IFMC), which honors one of three emerging composers win the Golden Eye for “Best International Film Music 2021”. The finalists have each created an original score for David Vergés’ award-winning short film ETIQUETA NEGRA. These will celebrate their world premiere with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich under the baton of Frank Strobel at the new Tonhalle Zurich.

Mychael Danna himself will receive the ZFF’s Career Achievement Award at the Tonhalle Zurich. The ceremony will be followed by the Film Music Concert, which promises to be an emotional experience, and the world premiere of the ZFF’s new jingle by the internationally award-winning trio Diego Baldenweg with Nora Baldenweg & Lionel Baldenweg, who will make a guest appearance during the evening.
