Argentine film has never been more vivacious thanks to new talented directors who have given a fresh face to Argentine cinema with their surprising short films. EL EMPLEO_2008 (Animation)
In six minutes, Santiago Bou Grasso styles a socio-critical utopia of our working environment and questions the importance of professional identity in a tragically amusing fashion.

ELE & JAGGER_2005 (Drama)
Ele falls in love with singer Jagger, who looks surprisingly similar to his idol Mick Jagger. In 20 minutes, Juan Ramón Ojuez presents a sensitive study of dying teenage dreams.

HOY NO ES HOY_2007 (Silent film)
Martin wants to disappear, but his life – as well as this 8-minute film – takes a surprising turn. Gustavo Taretto’s snapshot of a city chameleon has won several prizes.

MUTO_2008 (Animation)
Buenos Aires has a huge street-art scene and artist “Blu” crafts the most famous graffiti art. In seven minutes, his figures transform and thus conquer public space.

ORQUESTA TIPICA_2007 (Documentary)
This 20-minute documentary gives an insight into the spirit of the Argentine people: tango! Nicolas Entel accompanies the “Orquesta Tipica” during their inspirational street concerts.

UN JUEGO ABSURDO_2009 (Comedy)
Young geek Javier attempts to compare lust with mathematics and thus find a formula for passion. An amusing twelve-minute comedy by Gaston Rothschild.
