12-year-old Sue is a perfectly normal girl, as she says of herself. She loves comics and superheroes. Not even in her wildest dreams would she have thought of possessing supernatural powers of her own. When she comes into contact with a liquid that her mother, a scientist, has developed in her secret lab, however, Sue is suddenly invisible. When her mother is abducted, Sue, together with her friends App and Tobi, must use her gift to find the kidnappers. This innovative fantasy film by German director Markus Dietrich is an exciting adventure featuring a strong heroine; a picture that is simultaneously “larger than life” and humbly grounded.
