Teheran. An advertisement printed in the morning paper is the source of confusion. Countless people gather in public places with the aim of discovering whether it is a hoax, or whether that which was offered in the ad is true – and the answer to all their problems. With the aid of the police, the gathering soon disperses without incident. But Leila and Setareh don’t give in so easily. Independently of each other, the two set off in search of the advertiser, and do everything in their power to profit from his extraordinary offer… This highly emotional directorial debut by Vahid Jalivand highlights the various problems faced by two women and their husbands, while simultaneously underlining the problems of a whole society.
