The young soldier S has had enough of the brutality of the Tunisian army. When he is allowed home for his mother's funeral, he deserts, fleeing for the solitude of the forest. There, several years later, he meets the pregnant F, who has fled her life as the wife of a wealthy businessman. She soon feels captivated by the enigmatic loner S.
