Sasha works for a natural gas company. When his pregnant wife gives birth two months early, he tries to raise money to save the premature baby. Despite the precarious situation, Sasha refuses to accept bribes. This leads to tense situations in his day-to-day work. His wife cannot understand Sasha's stubbornness. Faced with a real crisis, he receives an unusual assignment. He is to install an oven in the church, for which a mural of a Madonna must be destroyed. Hoping to save the image, Sasha has to deceive the system. In his drama, Moldovan filmmaker Anatol Durbală contrasts the sincerity of a simple worker with the decadent arrogance of the ruling class.
