Is one allowed to fall in love with one’s best friend’s ex? The ambitious Spanish actress Ana spends the summer in Lucia’s house in Argentina looking after her daughter Abi. Lucia has been separated from Ricky for three years and is currently on holiday in Uruguay with her new boyfriend Eduardo. When Ricky goes to pick up his daughter, sparks begin to fly between him and Ana. The two begin a passionate affair, but Ana tortures herself with the question of whether her commitment should lie first and foremost with her friend or with her lover and whether she has to make a choice at all. Director Victoria Galardi’s third feature broaches the issues of and interplay between love, loyalty, guilt and secrecy.
