Eltern

Christine and Konrad are a modern family. While the anaesthetist works towards her promotion to senior physicist, Konrad remains at home in their chic Berlin apartment, taking care of their two daughters. Family life is suddenly turned on its head when Konrad is offered a job working in his old profession as a theatre director. Employed at short notice, the Argentinean au pair turns out to be a complete failure, Konrad finds his change of role more difficult than he anticipated and Christine reaches her limits running from operating theatre to kitchen. Only when Konrad demands an unexpected time out from the family does it become clear to all that things have to change.
