Kearen Pang|Tragikomödie

Christy’s neon-lit, fast-paced lifestyle is crumbling all around her. She finds herself drowning in life’s most recent challenges while her 30th birthday is just around the corner. Her continuing run of bad luck forces her to rent a place from Wong, a person she’s never met before. Wong is on holiday, but her diary, which she left behind, seems to have an uncanny influence on Christy. Despite sharing the exact same date of birth, Wong appears to be Christy’s polar opposite. Even with a severe illness, Wong sees a positive future and emanates a cheerfulness that seems to captivate everyone around her. Kearen Pang’s self-assured debut brings a hopeful female voice into Hong Kong’s male-dominated cinematic landscape. Instead of fast-paced action, she celebrates life – plain and simple.
