Amanda Seyfried charms Zurich on the ninth day of the ZFF

On the ninth day of the ZFF, Amanda Seyfried presented her new film THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE alongside director Mona Fastvold. Meanwhile, producer Anne Walser was honored with the Career Achievement Award for her impressive career.
On October 3 – a date that MEAN GIRLS fans will recognize – actress Amanda Seyfried visited the 21st ZFF, bringing smiles to the faces of those at Sechseläutenplatz. She and director Mona Fastvold attended the festival to present their new film, THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE. Accompanied by an intoxicating soundtrack by Oscar-winning composer Daniel Blumberg (THE BRUTALIST), the film tells the story of Ann Lee, the founder of the Shaker movement.

Regarding her portrayal of the historical figure Ann Lee, the actress said, «The difficult thing was portraying someone who lived in the 18th century and started a religious movement. But with Mona's help, I managed to bring our version of Ann Lee to life.»
Career Achievement Award for Anne Walser

Another Swiss success story was celebrated this evening. Anne Walser, a producer who has worked in the Swiss film industry for more than 20 years, was honored. Yesterday evening, she received the Career Achievement Award. On September 28, Walser appeared on the Green Carpet alongside the STILLER cast, with whom she collaborated through the company C-FILMS AG.
