ZFF Talks: Grenzen der Genforschung

The film GENESIS 2.0 sees mammoth hunters, DNA scientists and molecular biologists attempt to breathe life into a mammoth. The resurrection of the mammoth would be the first move during the next technological revolution in genetic research. This talk questions whether it is possible to bring a mammoth to life, explains what exactly resurrection biology is and where the limits of current genetic research are. Moderator: Monika Schärer.
