Harrison Ford is one of Hollywood’s most successful actors. His career began during the ‘New Hollywood’ era at the end of the 60s playing small roles in films by George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola. He became an overnight sensation after playing Han Solo in George Lucas’ STAR WARS (1977), film history’s first ever blockbuster. Harrison Ford rocketed to icon status for a whole generation of cinemagoers with his portrayal of the archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981) and the franchise’s subsequent films.
