When The Light Breaks

This moving film is set in Iceland and takes place over just one day: Diddi and Una are at the start of their relationship and get intimate with each other. Then, Diddi who has a girlfriend, goes home. The next day, Una finds out that he died in an accident in a tunnel. Shortly thereafter, she meets Klara who had been Diddis girlfriend and reveals to her that she is pansexual. A touching coming of age drama from Iceland, about grief, loss and identity, which uses beautiful landscape images to reflect the soul.
