Meiko realises during a cab ride that the man her friend is gushing about is, of all people, her ex-boyfriend. Nao has an elaborate plan to get revenge on a professor for failing her boyfriend in his final exam. Aya and Natsuko were classmates and happen to run into each other 20 years later. In three episodes, Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi tells charming and amusing tales of awkward encounters and unlikely coincidences as only love – and cinema – writes them.
