Vera Drake

Vera Drake works in a factory and takes loving care of her husband, children and ill mother. What nobody knows, however, is that she also performs illegal abortions on young women, for free. When a girl almost dies as a result of one of these ‘operations’, Vera finds herself in serious trouble.
