Turquoise water, bright white yachts: It is summer in Cannes. 16-year-old Naïma has not yet laid down plans for the holidays, let alone for the future. But her 22-year-old cousin Sofia brings a breath of fresh air when she unexpectedly comes to visit. Sofia, who loves luxury and flirting, knows how to use her body effectively. Naïma is impressed by Sofia’s ease in getting everything she wants, and eventually accompanies her to her newest lover’s yacht. While her cousin exchanges sex for luxury in a playful yet routine way, Naïma gains insight into a world that is completely foreign to her, that of the rich and beautiful. UNE FILLE FACILE is a colourful and sensual coming-of-age story that deliberately plays with prejudice and celebrates its female characters.
