Interviews with him and fellow companions such as Franz Hohler and Bänz Friedli alternate with scenes of his most humorous performances. Finally, he also tells the moving love story between him and his wife Niccel. The film is a tribute to the comedian Emil, bringing us closer to the person behind the figure that has been present for a century and who has brought joy to many generations.
