The Third Day

In competition When family man Sam is taken to a remote island town off the coast of Britain, he has no idea that this is only the beginning of a series of inexplicable events. “Welcome to paradise,” says the pub owner, but Sam senses there something not quite right with the place. Its inhabitants with their overly broad smiles, the preparations for a bizarre folk festival and the fact that no mobile phones are working, leave him with a distinct feeling of uneasiness. But leaving the island is more difficult than he expected, because the rising tide is quick to cut off the only way back to the mainland. ZFF shows the first two episodes of this British mystery series from HBO and Sky, in which Jude Law plays the leading role.
