The Goldfinger

Inspired by a real case, this financial thriller tells the story of how an unscrupulous businessman in 1980s Hong Kong used corruption and murder to build his empire and eluded investigators time and again until his conglomerate imploded, sending the stock market plummeting. An action-packed genre film with Hong Kong stars Tony Leung and Andy Lau in the leading roles, set against the backdrop of the end of British colonial rule.
