20 years after the end of the world: the last surviving family and their servants have found shelter in a private bunker. The family’s son was born in the bunker and only knows the outside world from stories. But the parents are plagued by the guilt of having contributed to the apocalypse themselves with their lifestyle. When a young woman turns up and starts flirting with the son, life in the luxury bunker goes off the rails. THE END by Joshua Oppenheimer is a satirical musical about what remains after having taken everything from others.
