The Banshees of Inisherin

While civil war rages in Ireland in 1923, life on the remote island of Inisherin takes its usual course for the good-natured Pádraic: Together with donkey Jenny, he walks over the grassy hills for his 2pm drink at the pub. But Pádraic is jolted out of his carefree state when his lifelong friend Colm abruptly ends their friendship for seemingly no reason.
