The Assessment

In a future world devastated by climate change, society is striving for perfection. Couples wishing to have children must therefore undergo a state aptitude test. Botanist Mia and researcher Aaryan are assigned an assessor, Virginia (Alicia Vikander), who stays with them for a week - unsettling their relationship with her uncomfortable questions. This dystopian science fiction film is about society's obsession with optimisation and features an outstanding Alicia Vikander in the lead role. She wins the Golden Eye award at the ZFF for her performance.
