Team Marco

iPad, Xbox and VR glasses: 11-year-old Marco loves to spend his time playing computer games and dreams of visiting a gaming fair. Unfortunately, his mother constantly monitors his screen time. When Marco’s widowed Italian grandfather moves in with them, his everyday life is fully turned upside down. For „Nonno“, it is a matter of course that children play outside during the summer. And so, Marco, not entirely voluntarily, ends up with grandpa’s Italian friends on a boccia green, where he not only begins to find pleasure in the sporty game, but also makes completely new friends. TEAM MARCO is a highly topical family film in which the dichotomy between digital and physical, between young and old is playfully broached. Recommended for age 8 or older
