A young Journalist leaves her home country, Moldova, to distance herself from her father, who is responsible for abuse and trauma in her early life. When she later returns to confront him about his behavior, she discovers that her father was also being abused. By his employer in Italy. Lina Vdovîi is a Moldovan filmmaker, screenwriter and award-winning journalist. Her articles have been published in media worldwide, such as the Guardian and Al Jazeera. Her debut film TATA tells the story of her own father-daughter relationship. Radu Ciorniciuc is a Romanian filmmaker, screenwriter and award-winning journalist. He is co-founder of Casa Jurnalistului, the first independent media organisation in Romania.
