The small-time criminal Das wants to climb the next rung on his career ladder: Kidnapping. He seems well acquainted with the most important rules for carrying out this job successfully: Don’t kidnap anybody famous. Don’t ask for too much ransom money. Don’t carry a weapon. Encouraged by the mysterious beauty Shalu, he begins his business, together with three unemployed buddies, with astounding success. Until, that is, this crazy gang gets a little too bold – and ends up kidnapping the son of a very influential minister. Hunted by an unscrupulous cop, these intrepid crooks wreak havoc across the city. With no shortage of action, humour and romance, this wacky gangster comedy is one of the biggest hits of Tamil indie cinema.
