The setting of this unique film is a dreary, arranged marriage in Mumbai. The spineless husband seems bored, while his wife, driven by dissatisfaction, behaves in an abrasive manner in everyday life and gives free rein to her basic instincts. A twisted, entertaining Indian love story, packaged as a punk comedy in an arthouse style, full of slapstick humor and allusions to American cinema - including a soundtrack with country music and hard rock. Karan Kandhari is an Indian director. He was born in the middle east and currently lives in London. His short film HARD HAT was screened at numerous film festivals and has won the Audience Award at the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival in London.
