After 38 years of dictatorship and the departure of autocrat Mugabe, Zimbabwe is facing a decisive presidential election campaign. The hopeful candidate of the new oppositional democracy movement is the young, charismatic lawyer Nelson Chamissa. His opponent is Emmerson Mnangagwa, who belongs to the ruling party and has both the police and the military at his disposal. And the electoral commission is also suspected of being an unfair arbiter. Nevertheless, Chamissa and his campaign team are doing everything they can to turn things around. With a bold eye, investigative filmmaker Camilla Nielsson takes an intimate look at Chamissa's struggle for democracy and hope in a country rife with unrest.
