Nikko and his friend share a passion: the observation of rare birds. Each sighting is meticulously noted – almost 500 to date. The young Londoner has just got over a painful separation from his girlfriend Stevie, when the beautiful blond enters his life once more. His friends are less than impressed by the news that Nikko has got back together with the militant animal-rights activist and bitter memories are raised in his social environment. Nikko and Stevie met in a suicide chat room where the two lovers planned their suicide together and their friends’ suspicions are soon confirmed: Nikko decides to end his life after registering the 500th bird.
