Peacemaker

In competition Ann-Mari is a so-called peacemaker who has worked on behalf of the Finnish government in many political conflicts. After publicly revealing that a domestic company is involved in illegal arms trading, she finds herself at the centre of a scandal. Despite the ensuing court case, Ann-Mari is summoned to a crisis area in Turkey, where she is to help mediate with tact and sensitivity between two hardened parties. In an unyielding world of bloody wars and steep power relations, the steadfast Finn refuses to be intimidated by the mighty, and remains rigidly committed to humanity.
