A passionate night with the young teacher Agathe drastically changes the life of married Tomas. When the one-night stand turns into an intimate affair, and his husband Martin also pursues other interests, jealousy creeps into their marriage. Choosing between Agathe and Martin seems impossible for Tomas, who lives in Paris. We accompany Tomas as he faces his love dilemma and follow him on a journey to discover his most intimate desires. Director Ira Sachs has superbly cast Adèle Exarchopoulos, Franz Rogowski and Ben Wishaw in the leading roles, creating an erotic relationship drama that makes us think: Are we capable of loving more than one person from the bottom of our hearts and having a romantic relationship with them?
