My Favourite Cake

Seventy-year-old Mahin lives alone in Teheran. Loneliness, losses and the strict regime are robbing her of all joy of life. Following an afternoon with her girlfriends, she decides to open her heart again and to look out for a suitable partner, in all discreetness. In doing so, she bumps into Faramarz, a cab driver. The heartwarming meeting of the two develops into an unforgettable encounter. After their participation at a ZFF-competition with BALLAD OF A WHITE COW (2021), Maryam Moghaddam & Behtash Sanaeeha, the Iranian director duo and married couple, come back to the ZFF for a Gala Premiere with MY FAVOURITE CAKE.
