Tom did not expect their first encounter to be like this: when the young homosexual fashion designer lands in Guatemala in order to take his adoptive son back to Israel, the extremely defiant five-year-old Miguel demands to stay at the orphanage. This is a huge blow for Tom, who wants to fulfil his lifelong dream of adopting. Sixteen years later, when Miguel travels to his South American homeland in search of his biological mother, Tom tries everything to prevent a long-kept secret from being revealed.
