Maniac

Bashful Frank repairs old mannequins in the shop that belonged to his long-dead mother. He is completely obsessed with these plastic people – and not only that: when his headaches strike, he hits the streets in search of new female victims. His brutally scalped subjects serve to give life to his display dummies. When beautiful photographer Anna walks into his life, he finds in her a kindred spirit – Anna is currently working on a mannequin project, and shares his fascination for them. The two head off hand-in-hand to enjoy an increasing emotional bond. If only Frank’s headaches would go away though. MANIAC is a remake of the classic 80s horror, and stars Elijah Wood.
