As an usher in a run-down cinema, Nikki lives a modest existence. His insomnia is the bane of his life – until one night he gets hold of the mysterious sleeping tablet ‘Lucia’, which promises to help him flee the daily grind into his own dream world. At night, Nikki now lives the life of a rich and famous film star: His boss has suddenly become his assistant, and the pizza seller Shwetha the model at his side. But when he suddenly wakes up from this dream world to find an empty bottle of tablets, doubt begins to set in. Which life is real and which is just a dream? Financed entirely through crowdfunding, this Kannada-language film is a colourful homage to the art of cinematic narrative, Indian cinema and life itself.
