Lola Rennt

The phone rings at Lola’s: Her friend Manni has lost a bag containing 100’000 Marks in the subway. Lola, who has 20 minutes to get the money together, sets off running – straight to the bank where her father works. When he refuses to help her out of this predicament, she robs a supermarket – and is shot by a police officer… but she gets a second chance! Three plots have Lola running the length and breadth of Berlin – with different outcomes for all those involved.
