Le Petit Nicolas - Qu’est-ce qu’on attend pour être heureux ?

Benjamin Massoubre|Animation

Little Nicolas lives with his mother and father in 1950s Paris and experiences exciting adventures with his friends on a daily basis – this is how René Goscinny, one of the authors of "Asterix" and "Lucky Luke", and cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempé once imagined their little hero. The animated film, created in collaboration with Sempé and Goscinny's daughter Anne, combines the story of the character's creation with the biography of the authors. During the course of the narrative, the boy slips into the workshop of his creators and confronts them in a witty way, thus allowing Sempé and Goscinny to revive their working technique and their friendship.
