by Andrés Ramírez Pulido
Blindfolded, young Eliú is taken to a new kind of educational camp after committing a serious crime in a drunken stupor with his friend El Mono. In the middle of the Colombian jungle, he and other youths toil under the threatening gaze of the warden to transform a run-down hacienda into a wellness hotel. One day, El Mono is transferred to the same facility, bringing with him a past that Eliú has been trying to break away from. Andrés Ramírez Pulido's debut feature won the top prize at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes.
