Sebastian can no longer stand living at his parents’ bourgeois house in German-speaking Switzerland. On his 18th birthday, he announces that he is off to work as an au pair for a family in Geneva for a year – in order to improve his French, of course. While his father freaks out, his mother remains distraught and Sebastian sets off on an adventure.
