The young British author Arabella is celebrated as the voice of her generation. Poignantly and loudmouthedly she writes about her life as a black woman, about sexual freedom and being a millenial. After a night of partying and an unusually strong hangover, she suffers mysterious flashbacks. Only gradually does she realise what has actually happened.
