"Soup, soap, salvation." True to this motto, the Salvation Army cares for the marginalised and needy. Officer Fredi Inniger also visits homeless and lonely old people in the city of Zurich. With camera in hand, Swiss director Thomas Thümena accompanies Fredi as he goes about his busy everyday life, portraying both the Salvationist of the free church and the needy people with whom he regularly interacts.
