Work of art or criminal offence? This question is what drives Harald Naegeli, ever since he sprayed his first stick figure drawing on a public wall in 1977. While the public prosecutor's office has been hot on the heels of this Zurich-based sprayer, after issuing an international arrest warrant in 1983, he is considered by many others to be a pioneer of street art. Today, at the age of 80, he returns home after decades of exile in Düsseldorf. Here, he rekindles his love-hate relationship with the city of Zurich. An entertaining examination of the controversial, versatile and extremely charismatic Swiss artist.
