Filmmusikkonzert

Science fiction is the theme of this year’s Film Music Concert. A highlight of the evening sees the performance of a shortened version of Peter Thomas’ suite for the TV classic RAUMPATROUILLE ORION. The legendary German composer himself will attend the event as a honorary guest. A further highlight comes in the form of a guest appearance by Zurich-born composer and cellist Martin Tillman, who will play the solo part for cello from his piece „Odessa”, which he wrote for the film ALI. The suite arranged exclusively for this special event is a grand medley of science fiction music classics from STAR WARS, FLASH GORDON and STAR TREK, plus a vocal performance of Éric Serra’s „Diva Dance“ from the film THE 5th ELEMENT!
