As the son of a large landowner, the likeable Rodrigo gradually takes over his father's farm in the border region between Uruguay and Brazil. In search of workers, he hires the inexperienced Carlos, the son of an employee. The two young family men could not be more different, and yet an unusual friendship grows out of their respectful interaction. However, a fatal accident not only endangers the farm, but also drastically changes the relationship between Rodrigo and Carlos. Visually captivating, the drama tells of social contrasts and cross-class bonds.
