A cloudless sky becomes a deadly threat. In its fight against terror – for example in Pakistan – the CIA, America’s secret service, attaches weapons to drones. The pilots are stationed in the USA, where they kill from a distance at the flick of a joystick. Where are these pilots recruited? Who are they killing? Who makes the decisions? And what impact do these remote-controlled, unmanned flying objects have on the civilian population? Former pilots, victims, human rights activists, politicians, engineers and other experts bring light to the darkness. It’s time the devious new war tactics were questioned, and an internationally agreed policy drawn up to control the use of these treacherous weapons.
