Wherefore she is shocked then when suddenly George, an elegant Englishman turns up one day and claims that she wrote to him via a dating site for the elderly. Because he has proof, and Gertrud is unable to recall doing any such thing, she is certain that she is slowly losing control of her senses. She decides that all she wants is a socially acceptable end – before she ends up in a clinic.
