Amaia and Javi just got their first child and are still full of joy. How the new parents are going to organise themselves regarding work and care is something they have hardly yet thought about. When Javi is absent with work for an extended period of time, Amaia reaches her limit. She's soon on her way to the Basque coast to seek support from her parents – and is faced by the question of her own future. When Amaia's mother suddenly falls ill, her role once again takes on a whole new meaning. In her debut feature, director Alauda Ruiz de Azúa addresses the challenges facing young parents today in a sensitive and true-to-life way.
